Grow their confidence

A lot of our workshops will be taught through playing games. Games that stimulate the imagination, encourage children to interact with each other and help them to learn new skills (skills that are not always covered through the curriculum).

Learning through play

Here at Edgui we facilitate educational after school workshops for your child to attend at their local school. Your child will be coached by an experienced qualified teacher while they delve into the world of strategic gaming. Our one and a half hour sessions have a limited 12 spaces available, so early booking is essential. These workshops are only available for children in school years 5, 6 or 7.

Skills

Here are just a few of the skills that children will have the opportunity to learn:

  • Promote life skills and develop your child’s ability to think outside the box.

  • To work in a team

  • To engaging in quality time face to face (away from computer screens!)

  • Understand the implications of their actions

  • Learn how to manage resources

  • How to calculate risk

  • How to clearly communicate complex ideas to others

  • Set goals and recognise when to change focus

  • And many more…

Life throws so many challenges our way which demand us to think laterally and as it moves at an increasing pace we need to ensure our children have the best start possible. Interaction with each other plays a crucial part of that success.
